The oats give some lovely texture to the loaf and the cinnamon and nutmeg stop it being overly sweet. Enjoy with a nice cup of tea!

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (Gas Mark 5)
Line a loaf tin with baking paper
Mash the bananas until smooth
Mix all the ingredients together (except the oats) in a bowl and stir until combines well
Pour the mixture into the loaf tin and sprinkle a few oats on the top for texture
Cook for 55 minutes or until a sharp knife or skewer, inserted into the middle of the loaf, comes out clean
Turn out onto a baking rack to cool
